RIP Keith Alexander

Football has played a enormous part in my life Liverpool is my love always has been always will be,but my home town is Macclesfield,Cheshire, which has the smallest club in the football league, unfortunately due to its rich neighbours from Manchester they have never been able to drum up the support they crave for. When the club was non league i used to go and watch them quite regularly even got to go to Wembley to watch them. They have struggled to attract players and managers and supporters, so anyone who has worked with the club has deffinately had their work cut out.Keith Alexander worked wonders with Lincoln city and when he took over from Ian Brightwell the club were one point from the relegation zone,he steered them away and has been building from there with nothing to do it with.Unfortunately On the 3rd March 2010 Keith passed away hours after a club game with Notts county he was only 53,maybe he will be most remembered for the time he spent at Lincoln but im sure all at Macclesfield Football club will hold him in the highest of regards,my thoughts are with his family at this time.
Rip Keith Alexander
